Public Educators Serving Public Education
We are the Center for Educational Development and Research (CEDR), a department of the San Joaquin County (California) Office of Education (SJCOE) and the developers of ED-JOIN, SEIS, PROMIS, DMS, AB 1433, AB 430, MEMS, and SchoolBuilder among others. Our web and software development group was established by Superintendent of Schools Mick Founts, to develop innovative data management systems for the departments and programs here at the SJCOE. Over the years our systems and services have expanded state-wide. We now serve over 1,100 school districts, 58 County Offices, and 46 SELPA's, providing a broad spectrum of web development services and hosted systems, all on a contract basis.
As a public agency, CEDR Systems has a zero profit margin built into its fee structure, so our pricing is significantly lower than private vendors. As public educators, we really understand the needs and level of service required to make your job more efficient. The SJCOE has been serving school districts and other public agencies for well over a hundred years. If you have a problem, you know right where to find us.
